Recruitment Scam Alert

Recruitment fraud is a growing problem affecting job seekers across many companies. Fraudulent
profiles may impersonate recruiters on platforms such as Indeed or LinkedIn, targeting candidates with
fake job offers and requests for money or personal information.

Windmill Plastics Inc. is aware of fraudulent job postings created by third parties using company
information and domain names resembling our own. These postings are intended to mislead candidates and solicit personal information under false pretences, through communications sent via email or third-
party online platforms.

We take this matter seriously and are working with platforms to identify and remove fraudulent profiles.

First Step: Verify the Email Domain

All legitimate communications from Windmill Plastics will only come from email addresses ending in:
@windmillplastics.com

  • Any message not coming from this exact domain should be considered suspicious
  • The most reliable way to verify authenticity is to check the sender’s email domain

Our Recruitment Practices

To ensure your protection:

  • All official offers are sent only from @windmillplastics.com
  • You will not receive a job offer or employment contract without prior direct contact with a Windmill Plastics representative.
  • Our hiring process always involves direct in person communication before any offer is made.

Fraudulent communications may include:

  • Requests for money or payments (e.g., visa fees, taxes, travel expenses)
  • Requests for personal or financial information (e.g., passport details, bank accounts, credit cards)
  • Messages that appear professional but come from non-official email addresses

Windmill Plastics employees will never ask for:

  • Payment of any kind
  • Personal financial information during the recruitment process

What to Do if You Receive a Suspicious Message

  • Do not respond or engage
  • Do not send personal or financial information
